Steven Slate Drums Users Please Read !

I have recently got Slate drums and it is fanastic !

I am over the moon with the sounds and the playing from my TD-20.

I have one problem though......

I cant seem to figure out how to map the kit parts and cymballs to drums and cymballs of my choice on my TD-20

I wil try and explain this as best I can...... My TD20 set up has 4 cymbals 2 I use for crashes and they are mapped out great and one I use for my ride the last one I normaly use on my right hand side as a china or 3rd crash depending what I am playing.

I cant figure out how to make the extra cymball I have map to a China. If I hit the China I can see it triggering a key on the Kontact keyboard on the slate drums but I dont know how to make that key trigger the china.

Like I said I am over the moon with the product so far and Ive read through the instructions but I cant seem to understand how to do this

Could you please try and tell me how to map out specific key parts to the keys on the on screen keyboard ? If I can do this it will then work with that china and I will be over the moon.

I would really like to try and get this matter fixed so I can start doing some searious recording tomorow

I really hope you can help !

Thanks

Your TD-20 brain must be set to the note of the china (as defined by Slate).

Chances are you'll need a drum map or if the TD-20 has multiple kit setups you can have a "Slate" kit.
