Still Seeing Sharded Clips

I was thinking I read/saw that the January '17 Sonar version was to fix clip sharding while editing. Just reporting here that I'm still seeing shards in lanes.

I'm not sure what you mean by clip sharding but I had a midi track with about 20 - 24 clips on it.
I selected the track, set "now" from the beginning and "thru" to the end, hit delete on the keyboard,  all events were deleted and all but one clip were deleted. It left an empty clip at the end of the track.
    Easily reproducible.
