Hmm...  No replies from Bubba since four days ago.  Maybe he finally got some sleep?

jbow
My worst thing lately has been shoulder pain, both shoulders, the big muscles in the back and on the right, the top of my neck, temple, and right eye (I'm pretty sure some is cluster headaches and I'm looking for some tryptamines like a certain fungi) but the shoulder muscles.. I can't figure out but they have been hurting for about 14 days now. I'm going to try a massage therapist and go from there.... it's always something eh?

jbow... You mention heart issues in the previous post, that shoulder pain is very likely related. The heart itself feels no pain and when it is stressed you feel it in unlikely areas. Chest and left arm are often the ones people talk about, but shoulder and jaw pain are also very common.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

Sorry for dropping out of sight. This weekend had a lot of time spent with family. The day job workload is heavy, and I spend a ridiculous amount of time sitting in traffic, so free time has been scarce. Between all of the activities, I forced myself to sit at my desk and I wrote almost 3,000 words over the weekend. It's one of those things where you push yourself to create even if you don't feel like it because you know you'll get back in the groove eventually. I feel like I started to get into the flow and I hope to continue forcing the gears to turn.

I went for a sleep study and they called me with the results late last week. Without my machine, I stopped breathing 39 times per hour. That's right. Without electricity, I would not survive the night. (I can see everyone now trying to figure out a way to take down the national power grid.)

Anyway, I get a new machine later this week. I'm hoping this works better and I can start getting a good night's sleep.

To Bitflipper's point. Time travel can be tricky when you realize that you have to adjust for the movement of the planet.

Me too UB.....

Although, I find it hard to believe that you have to push yourself to be creative......words to you are like what Ex-Lax is to the FSF.

Wait......

That may not be a good analogy.

If you haven't had your hormones checked - do it. Find a GOOD doctor though - most don't understand hormones.

I suffered from the same problems and found out I had low Testosterone. Now, I give myself shots, use a CPAP, went lo-carb/high fat, and lift a lot of heavy weights. I'm in the best shape of my life at 46. At 40, I thought I was accelerating towards death - nothing I did mattered. Felt down, always tired, listless, lowered libido, etc. etc. People say I actually look younger today than I did 10 years ago; no joke.

Guys have hormone issues just like women do, it's just not often talked about and when it is it is often misunderstood.

If your hormones are out of whack, nothing you do will compensate.
