Stirring/Swelling movie musical themes

Watched Castaway the other night (God I love that damn volleyball) and it had some good music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmgSoa9_y7E

I tried to think of some other movie music of the same type and came up with these from reasonably modern movies.

Shawshank suds on roof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8101BU3DaQ

Anyone got any others?

    *Phew!*  So glad this is a "safe" topic.  I saw the title and thought it was about porn!

    I think some of the most emotion stirring music was from Halloween...

    The original "Castaway" with Amanda Donohoe and Oliver Reed was a far better film and more entertaining, and did not change the name of the story from Robinson Crusoe. Btw, if you ever see Luis Bunuel's version of Robinson Crusoe, it is even better!

    The original "Castaway" film was based on an English novel that got pretty well known, by the way. The lady was hired to spend a year with the rich guy on a desert island in the Pacific. And the film has a lot of fun ... with it all.

    Music ... not good enough for my tastes, when you compare it to the masters! Just Hollywood stuff!

    As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

    This is the original 'castaway' to me, the 'Robinson Crusoe' theme;

    Thanks for taking the time to hunt that down James. Also the LOTR one too. I'm the only New Zealander who has never watched a LOTR movie to my knowledge. Just cannot do fantasy and dislike funny little gremlin voices. And greenscreen acting. And the Shortland Street actors that apparently make cameos. And Peter Jackson lobbying for taxbreaks. etc etc.

    Been a LOTR fan since I was about 11..used to read the trilogy every year or so. The movies did about as much justice to the books as they could have I think.

    The Robinson Crusoe theme is so evocative of my childhood that I kind of stop in my tracks whenever I hear it (which isn't often). I was 4 years old when that series was first shown but it was a regular 'school holiday re-run for many years. Beautiful piece of music.
