James, I really like this. Your phrasing at times suggests an odd time signature. Pretty good synth part too. Nice guitar work, as usual, and a great tone. I like the way the song builds, and, if I had to criticize it, it would be because you end it just as you really seem to be reaching the peak, casually tossing in some terrific licks as you fade. Jeff Baxter used to do that a lot too. Good work.

James, this is great. Really nice work went into this. Very enjoyable to listen to! Great synth part - or is it electric violin or both? ( Probably synth and guitar but it is really cool )  Loved this one !!! Worthy of at least a couple more listens for sure! Great stuff!

Hi James. I've been busy latley but I'm glad I popped in to hear this little gem. Intro and instrumentation introduction is fantastic. The rythym is established nicely and the guitar tone is great. The synth solo at 1:45 is a classic example of a simple melody that allows the effect to take it's full course without being rushed. Fits perfect. The rythym guitar has shades of Eric Johnson at times like around 2:19 and also sounds great. It's a cool guitar tune that all gels and ever so slightly hints at prog at times. A little Tony Bankish here and there. Great Playing. Enjoyed this a lot.

Thanks Mark, that's really kind. Well, if you could hear the clunker that came right after the fade, you'd understand why I ended it there The intro is kind of odd - I think it might be in 10/8, not sure.

Wow, James, I just loved this tune.  Some really cool and imaginative change ups that fit in beautifully.  No highlites or crits from me, as I felt the whole thing was just great!

well done, solid mix and fantastic instrumentation. Love all the guitar riffs and the bass really lays it down. The synth was a nice touch also. Just realised you were the guy that gave me the "dawn chorus" wav clip a few years back, thanks again, I didnt realise from the forum name!

This sounds like a Tangerine Dream tune.

Really nice vibe, mix is great as usual.  Some nice chord changes there.    Excellent playing as always.  This rides the edget between rock and ambient.  I always like that effect.

Nice job! As someone mentioned I was sorry to hear the fade at the end because based on what I heard at around 1:15 I was pretty sure you had the chops to destroy (in a good way ;) ) the improvisation. Nice stuff

Nice job. Especially liked the guitar playing and its tone. Also the wah-wah synth.

Great job on the percussion. Love the flow of this piece and your choice of guitar tones. Mix sounds GREAT!  KILLER performance on all the guitars.  KUDOS!

Great stuff man! It sounds surprisingly like a full, live band. Gotta love the LP's, great, tasteful playing. Good to see some things don't change.)
