Stop FX trails from Vst synth when MIDI notes stop playing

Hey all!

Little quetion about fx trails, hope somebody can help me out!
I´m using Synthmaster 2.8
The problem is that I have a midi sequence recorded, but when that sequence stops, there´s a quiet part in the song but the reverb and delay effects from synthmaster keep sounding until they fade out.
How can I get them to stop straight away when the midi stops playing to make place for the quiet part?
I know that volume automation on synthmaster´s audio channel would be an option, but I was hoping really there would be an internal option in Sonar to stop the trails when midi stops.
Thanks a lot!!

You can create a volume automation envelopes to cut the sound dead.

Or if Synthmaster 2.8 has a compressor in it's fx I would put a compressor after all other fx to help remove the tails, or you could bounce the clip to audio and cut the tails out manually

If think you mean Expander. Expansion pushes low-level signals down. Compression brings them up.
