Stop Right ... HERE!

Is there a way to get Sonar to stop exactly right where I [randomly] stop it instead of going all the way back to measure one, or where I last started it from? Its a small but annoying thing for me. I use a lot of linear video editing software and they usually stop right when and where I press the space bar. [I know, I'm spoiled rotton!]

Windows 7 64 bit, Sony Vaio Laptop Q740, 8 GB, Sonar Producer X1d, Focusrite Scarlett 18i, Korg Pa500, M-audio 61 Radium Keystation. Using Omnisphere, Trilian, Komplete 8, Morphestra, Orchestral Essentials, Evolve, Orange Tree Guitars, Addictive Drums, BFD2, Melodyne Editor, Studio One 2, Ozone 5, FabFilter.

Thanks, I was hoping there would be a simple answer. I just couldn't readily find it w/the help file.

You can also edit the default behavior so that space does what Ctrl.+Space would normally do.

    Thanks Wilko!
Now that's the answer I was really looking for ... now I have to ask ... HOW can I accomplish that, because that was really what I'm hoping to accomplish: simplicity?

Uncheck "On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker" in the Track View Options menu.

Thanks Brundlefly! I've got to say, we've got some good people on these forums, very helpful: a great resource and community of musicians.

Ya. I've never had to read the manual or explore all the options on my own as all I have to do is ask a question here and nearly everyone will just tell me exactly what I want to know.

Yes, sometimes finding the appropriate information in the "manual" is harder than reading Bapu, perhaps.

With other software I just sort of figure it out intuitively ... or go to the help file, in the end. But Sonar isn't always quite as intuitively accessible for me, it seems, nor the help files readily helpful when I can't locate what I want [its probably in there, I'm just not finding it, sometimes].

This is a very supportive community when a person runs out of patience or time to find the answers on their own.
