Stop creating layers when loop recording in X1d

Hi!

We are recording some guitar tracks and the process we use is to create punch in/out points to record the right zone and we create a loop zone which extend a little farther to give some time to breath...

Sonar then create a new layer every time it complete a pass (while muting the previous one).

I want to tell Sonar to STOP creating a new layer each time, I just want it to erase the last take everytime it goes back and start over.

To cure this, I went in the record menu (right-clicking on the record button) and I unticked "Create a new layer when they overlap" and "Mute last clip".

Sorry I translate my french version the best I can...

Anyway, Sonar's behaviour stays the very same, stacking tons of muted layers for each take.

Note that I use "Recording mode = Replace"

Thanks for any input on this!
