Strange Issue with "missing" Plugin Menu Layout File

Hello to all.  It's been a while since I posted to the forums.  Everything has been running smoothly with Sonar Platinum until this recent issue:

So several months back, I created a custom plugin layout file (pgl file) I called "My Fav VSTs"   Being the cautious type,  I created a back up file I called "My Fav VSTs-BU."  So all had been fine and there have been no issues.   Today, however,  I went to load a VST effect and noticed that "My FAV VSTs" plugin file is not there and the plugin manager has defaulted to  "My Fav VSTs-BU."  Foolishly, I hadn't updated "My Fav VSTs-BU." pgl file in a few months

The strange part of all of this  - My original pgl file, "My Fav VSTs"  is still in the folder with my other pgl fies, but for some reason, plugin manager doesn't "see" it.  Has anyone had this or a similar issue?

I am running the latest version of Sonar Platinum on a Windows 7, 64 bit computer.  (It has been running great, so I have not been in any rush to upgrade to Windows 10.)

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in Advance!
