Strange (but positive) result when using JBridge and VIrtual Guitarist

I normally set the latency on my Scarlett 18i20 / 6i6 to 2ms, as anything higher "feels" wrong - especially with piano parts.

However, I find that when using any of Virtual Guitarist plugins, anything less than 6ms ends up with pops and clicks.

I've got a Core i5 running at 3.5Ghz with 16Gb of RAM. The CPU usage hardly registers, so I was puzzled as to why the plugins were apparently struggling at lower latency.

So I tried something I thought would probably make things worse and enabled the "Load using JBridge wrapper" option.

To my surprise it worked! Now all the pops and clicks have gone with my latency at 2ms.

I wonder how many other plugins will "benefit" from this?
