Stuck in 48k?

Hi there,
I opened up a song I started a few years ago, and when I try to play it I get a "device may not support the current project's audio format". I do see up top that I'm at 48k/16 which is probably the issue. I'm using identical drivers and hardware (M-Audio Fast Track Pro), so I don't understand why I can't get this to work. I'm in the dark. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks much in advance!
-WS

Edit: Maybe the real question is how to get my Fast Track Pro to run 48k again?

Are you using the same ASIO driver you originally used?
Is the project 48? or is your currant default 48 and the project was 44.1?
I seemed to remember my Fast track Pro was only 48 because I have a lot of old projects from those days and they are my only 48's.
I had to ditch it because of the faulty drivers anyhow.
If the old project is 44.1 you might be forced into converting the audio files to 48 using a wave editors batch processor.

It's the other way around. The old project is in 48. I'm not sure if I'm using the same drivers. I guess I'll reinstall the latest (legacy) drivers for the Fast Track again and see if that resets something? Thanks.

OK so your saying the old project is 48, What you need to do is open the ASIO control panel for the Fast track and change the rate to 48.  It's most likely set to 44.1 and Sonar cant force it to change.

It was the Fast Track Pro stuck in 44.1. Once I reinstalled the drivers I had the option of 48. Sorry to come to the forum for help before I tried the basic "reinstall the driver?". Thanks much for your time and best of luck in all your projects!
