Studio Instruments BUG. HELP!!

Cakewalk Studio Instruments gives you the ability to change settings and save those settings by creating your very own Presets. Trouble is...

1. I always get a preset called "C:\Documents and Settin". I can't delete it!
2. Sometimes when I make a new preset it won't let me select it.
3. Sometimes when I am able to select a new preset nothing changes in the graphical interface.
4. Sometimes when I delete a preset it is still there and won't go away.
5. Sometimes when I create a new preset and then later make another new one, it will revert back to the previous one when the SI is reopened.
And so on...

Another issue is...
1. Sometimes SI refuses to play certain notes during playback.

Is there a fix for these?

Thanks!

    1) 1 thats the default folder.. it shouldn't be the file name... it uses that as the standard place to load up .. are you doing "save" .. or "save as" on Win 7 it's different, but saves in a simular user area.. the top bar is showing the folder name right?

    2) are you using "save as" and if the preset isn't in the default folder, it might have issues with loading it

    3) try pressing f5 will refresh the file browser.

4)if you delete it in the file system , the f5 the browser it hopefully will

    5) notice when SI opens it will revert to "default" when opened.. you are saving the previous setting that you altered?

    and the other issue

which specific part of the thing?

remember some keys are mapped to start drum patterns etc..

you don't say if it's in stand alone or vst you have these problems
