Studio Instruments - Worth $30?

They keep sending me these e-mails. I wonder if I should pick these up just to have something easy to use when whipping together a basic track? I don't know. I wasn't thrilled with the sound, but for $30, that's a pretty good deal. I already have Rapture, DimPro, and Z3TA+, but sometimes I don't want to go hunting down sounds.

I believe these are virtual instruments. This means they have some advantages not typical of a straight sample set. This would mean they'd be great to have as ones you'd use often.

29.99 for set of 4 Virtual Instruments, that is not bad at all.. I bit the bait and downloaded them.

The Bass doesn't sound too bad at all. I added the Cakewalk FX Chorus to a bus and placed a send on the Bass track and the bass sounded great. I Also used the Crysonic "NewB" Bass Amp plug-in.., nice!

Haven't tried the strings yet. The Drum kit... well, let's just say I will stick with BFD or use Sessions Drummer 2, but I really the Key.

    Peace

Aren't they the same sounds as included with Dimension Pro?

When it works (about 50% of the time) it has very limited sounds and patterns. If it worked 100% of the time and it were free, I still wouldn't use it - simply not enough options.
