Studio Instruments and Cubase 4

Hi. When i draw a note to the piano roll using SI Electric Piano, Bass guitar or String and playing back, the midi event or note is not cut off, it sounds exactly as when playing on midi keyboard and the note is not released. I think its not Cubase 4 because 4.1.3 released today and problem still occurs. Is it a known bug or do i something wrong?

Anyone?

Thanks,
Alvin

Posted this also to the Cubase forum and problem confirmed. It happens ONLY with Studio Instruments and not with other plugins.....It worked in FL Studio but i'm sure it is SI's not Cubase's problem...

Well, i finded this about this issue - http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/kb200706145.asp

"/.../ The best way to avoid this is dragging the pattern into the song. /.../"

How to follow this in Cubase 4? I mean, there is no "patterns" in Cubase 4.......

You can drag a pattern from the Studio Instruments to a Cubase MIDI track. But even that doesn't solve the problem. It's a shame Cakewalk doesn't respond to this issue and just ignores it. I think I'll ask for a refund, cause this piece of software simply doesn't work as advertised....

I agree with all complainants here.

I've actually given up using SI for a varied number of reasons, shared by other posters. This is a shame because I actually like it. Cake support doesn't help.

I believe that the sofware was under developed to keep it cheap. If so, then this is false economy. As many before me have asked:

Where's the very neccessary update to get the software to a normal commercial functionality? Alternatively a refund should be given.

The only state of permanence is change

i cant use studi instruments in cubase at ALL. it just hangs notes forever and ever when reading back midi files the same as dimension pro used to before the hotfix

I just LOVE paying for software, months ago, and not being able to use it in a major host

Well, i got email from Cakewalk. They just told me that I have to wait for update.....Ok, I will wait.

Any opinions when will this update come? Cakewalk? I think it is not some big deal to do a hotfix, as there is for Dimension pro.
