Oh, these are the video presentation. 2.5 itself came out last week. Impressive release. Swipe comping is now on par w/ Logic's and that amp sim sounds sweet.

Err... cclarry be careful. The powers that be do not like other DAWs getting a mention and you don't get a warning. I was on the naughty step myself for a fortnight a while back.

And they released a free Softube Saturation (for S2.5 use only).

I wonder where they got that idea?

Sonar has it. Pro Tools has it. Now S1 has it. Wonder if Logic X will have it too...

    Oops..sorry...didn't know...

I just got the email and thought I'd pass the info on...

I would think that, if they were confident enough, that subtle conversation about, and
info about, would not be a problem....but what do I know?

I also saw that Digital Performer 8 for Windows is finally available...

Hoping the demo version hits soon...

I think the secret is not to link prices - especially if there's an offer. Moderators are not an exact science and I've long argued that you should be able to debate new things - even DAWs.

I reckon if we keep this between ourselves we'll get away with it.

Mind you, I did have an inkling I was on thin ice at the time!

Well there's no price there...it's their Webinar....so if that's the criteria I'm safe...

There is no demo for DP - unless they've announced one for the Windows release, which would be a first.

Ok..you're gonna make me have to download the trial...

I did with S1-2...but didn't much care for it....maybe the new features will give it a boost...
but they're gonna have to kick some serious boo tay to get me away from Sonar...

Same with DP8 ...they're gonna have to be boo tay kickin' to get me away...

Also waiting for the Trail of C7....

There's not a whole lot of likelihood that I'm gonna make a change anyways...

but I have to be fair to all parties and give them the shot they deserve...
It's about how I work....at that is all there is to it...

    Softube, I would imagine.

There's a knob for Reason too.

Looks like they give their 'exclusive' knobs to anyone.

Good for running hi-hats through though when you want a more sleigh bell type sound...
