Nerd alert! Set the controls on the four delays identically except for the four time parameters; turn off Sync and choose 11, 13, 17, and 23 ms. These are prime numbers so they don’t create resonances with each other.

Yes it should be good once he warms up. I've been wanting to edit the OP since posting it but fear it being eaten by the forum software, it should have read This Weeks Tip - Create Virtual Room Mics In Studio One

This made my day. I am really glad I chose Studio One 3 as my Sonar replacement.
The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better. I wouldn't have stopped here if I knew there would be math involved.

Craig has mentioned in previous discussions about DAWs that he has been using Studio One for a while now as part of his workflow, in addition to Sonar. He uses Ableton Live, as well, for live things. He has always stressed that there is not a one tool for all tasks. He should be able to translate S1 tasks from a Sonar perspective, unlike S1 experts that have only used S1.

Switching from SONAR to Studio One was a breeze for me when I switched over on v3 release. I imagine he will be fast tracking his knowledge, he has been finding stuff out here, like stuff he thought Studio One couldn't do or didn't have, but found out it can and does. I think he will be ramping up his learning and skills behind the scenes. Aba makes a good point about looking from the SONAR perspective, and I guess that any tips he does make regardless of current expertise would be helpful to new converts from SONAR.

I have been using Studio One for a couple of weeks and I am very impressed with this DAW so far. I look forward to learning more about it. I also noticed that there is a bit of S1 content over at Groove3 that I have started watching. But I always enjoyed reading Craig's practical tips, and I look forward to continuing to do so. All is not lost!

There is a number of vids on the PreSonus site aswell, although there seemed like there were a lot more a couple of years ago when I first looked, maybe they have moved or I am not looking in the right place now.
