Studio X1/Superior 2/Ezplayer Pro

I've been leafing through the manual but don't see this yet........

1. I have EZ Player Pro loaded and  pointing to a folder with midi files--I loaded the midi files.....
2. I have Superior 2 loaded
How do I get the midi Files I loaded with EZ Player Pro to output to Superior 2.
I dont see that option under the IO, I just see the option for EZ Player pro to output to itself....!

With Cubase you could output any vsti to anyothe by changing the output.
This is probably simple but I dont see it right now.

Thanks for any help!

Jim

insert Superior directly into your project as a VST instead of using EZPlayer.  then you have the options of 16 (IIRC) outputs.

I have Superior running  and eZplayer running.

should this (superior) NOT be loaded as  "simple" but more outputs...?

You need EZplayer Pro running also..... I take it-- I  don't see how to connect the 2

you do not have to have EZ player running.  I never use it myself.

if you've inserted superior into your project as a SIMPLE INSTRUMENT TRACK, then you can't use multiple outputs!  you must insert it as separate MIDI and OUTPUT tracks.

More than likely you forgot to enable the midi output on EZplayer when you created the soft synth tracks.

If you are just auditioning Toontrack grooves you don't have to use EZplayer as others have mentioned.  If you using some of the unique features of EZP, just enable the midi output.  I would think that you would have to use the Synth Rack to do that since you have EZP already inserted.
