Stupid pricing of things making me so mad

I'm in the market for some new blinds and I see some nice top-down bottom-up ones on the Bed Bath and Beyond website. I need 36.5" width.

Price for the 36" width: $75
Price for the 36.5" width: $130

What sane person isn't going to find that price structure infuriating beyond belief. Bed Bath and Beyond Belief. There.

If you were shopping online, I would guess you are suffering from computer assisted dynamic demand pricing. Using a tracking robot, information about you, or even the fact that you entered a certain criterion to limit your search on the browser searching other sites, or the site search itself, the vendor can know that what you want is a 36.5 width and magically adjust the price to match your need. Someone else could be seeing a completely different price for exactly the same thing at the same time.

Nope that's not it, I went in the store and talked to an employee and she confirmed the madness. She said that the higher price was because it was for a size "we wouldn't normally stock in store." I pointed out to her that this particular blind wasn't available in the store anyway, they only sell it on the website. She said "yeah but if we did sell it in store, we wouldn't stock that size." At that point my brain exploded some more and I had to leave.

SimpleZ ... the maschines make certain sizes in quantity.  "Odd" sizes require hand construction by skilled, unionized labor, with full OSHA garb and break schedules

If you can find your way to a LOWES store...Look at the Levolor brand. They will custom cut any size.
I like them. $30 to $40.

3 or 4 wraps of duct tape ought to do it.

Is that the actual size of blind you need or is that the actual width of the window?
As a former blind man, I know that the sizes listed on most stock blinds are the window size and the blind in the box is cut to fit that window. So if the box reads 35X64, the width of the blind will be ~34 3/8.
Check if that's the case with these blinds and then see if they have a stock 37" blind, which will be about 36 3/8, if that's the blind size you need and not the window's width.
