Style Dials opinion (thumbs up)

Realizing two camps of opinions on these one knobbers...  ...
The new SPACE style dial to me, sounds GREAT on stereo drum mixes.  It doesn't seem like the kick is overwhelming, like the drum 2 mix might be with a reverb send.  Pops the snare and toms just right.  Much more "reverb-y" than the DEPTH dial...which is more like a "room" sound.
The GATER seems to work very well too.  I'm liking these guys.

Now that said...I realize that some like to be "tweakers" and I include myself in this camp too.  But these guys are like the LA2A in the respect that they just work without fiddling.  I compare these modules to what was "state of the art" years back, and they're a great value.  For quick and easy to get 95% there....  You can see if you like the FX or not quickly.  Then if you need more control, go for it.  And THAT said, I truly believe the quality of these one knobbers won't be the limitations of making great sounding audio.  Used with expertise, they're going to sound as good as most anything else..especially in the mix. Again...like that SPACE dial!

Glad you are enjoying it! The good news is that if you want to tweak more, we have plenty of plugins in SONAR (including ProChannel modules) that allow you dial in the perfect mix.
