If you have an iPhone or iPad I can heartily recommend NI's iMacshine app ($4.99).  After watching the "directors cut" of Jamie creating an arrangement of one of his songs in real time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h2-1zD2pJA  I figured I'd plunk down 5 bucks and see for myself what fun I could have with it.  Turns out a lot.  A ton.  A whole heap.  For just goofing with or for actually putting down quick sketch ideas for a song where ever you happen to be...the grocery store, say...it's a little wonder.  A course folks'll be lookin at ya kinda funny as you wander the canned vegetable aisle wailin "I swang a nine pound hammer...cause I'm one bad mammer jammer" (or whatever) into yor cell phone at the top of yor lungs with those little ear bud thangs plugged up in yor ear holes.  But don't mind them...you'll be makin "ART".  Rock on, me droogies, rock on!
