Suddenly, Two Weird Problems

Working on a project.  Suddenly, things are weird.  (I have tried rebooting a few times.)
 
1-I keep trying to move an Elec Piano Instrument Track to the Keyboard folder.  It insists on going to the MIDI folder.  If I split the track, I can move the MIDI to the MIDI folder, but the audio won't go to the Keyboard folder: it still goes to MIDI.
2-Something about Select and Copy is weird.  I highlight one measure of a MIDI drum track and copy it to another measure.  When I paste it to a bar, the notes get separated into several diferent bars.  When I try to select the measure with the curso on the timeline, I end up with long regions selected.  The only way I can select a single measure is with Edit | Select by Time—but then pasting still scatters my notes around.
 
What the heck?

Yes everything goes to the MIDI folder (which is the last folder).
