Sundog Scale Studio updated to 2.4.0

Sundog Scale Studio 2.4.0 + new tutorial out now

Hi everybody,

a few weeks ago I misinterpreted a flyer description and found myself among a party crowd which went crazy to trap and hiphop beats. Don't tell my other self (gothic electro, goa, hardstyle), but I enjoyed it quite a bit :D
The day after that I gave trap music production a try and quickly found out that I needed a feature that some people asked for from time to time. I wanted to implement it anyway, so here it is: A "double tempo" option for the pattern box. Perfect for hihats and snare-rolls ;).

You can see it in action in this new tutorial video about trap chords and melodies:

The basic rules for creating a dark, gloomy atmosphere with chords and melodies will work for other styles as well, so be sure to give this video a glance or two ;).

New in Sundog 2.4.0:
  • "Double tempo" option for patterns.
  • New setting: "Duplicate original pattern when pattern length changes to multiple".
  • Bugfix: Auto-copying chords stopped working when extending song part.
  • Bugfix: Solo/Mute stopped working when switching song parts under rare conditions.
  • Bugfix Mac OS X on small screens: Input editor wasn't displayed properly in full window mode.
  • UI: Different symbol for "Clear chord" in Chords View.

The update is free for all customers as usual.
