Superior Drummer SDX Updates For SD3 Are Available For Download
They are ready for download and only take 20 seconds or so. Don't have the samples in them.
Posted here so it wouldn't get buried in another thread.

Thanks Lars. Just took a minute or 2. I did open up the update I downloaded and took a look at the new graphics of the SDX's I have. Very nice. I like what I saw. It was under Graphics V 3>Background I believe.

All but two SDX updates done. Custom & Vintage and NY Vol2 all three say they are running but I never get a dialog. I can see the processes in Task Manager. Weird. Installer Bug?
Basic SD3 SDX is just about downloaded. Installing momentarily.

I've got the first part/core downloaded and installed. Seems pretty nice. While most of the EZX kits when loaded get generic graphics/UI (but better than SD2), they have a bunch of special touches for electronic kits and even the flat GUI of Number 1 EZX shows up inside SD3. All the better features from EZDrummer2 seem to be there too.
Just loading a bunch of kits and playing some of the MIDI grooves isn't really enough testing depth, how well it works is much more a long term kind of thing. At first glance so far I'm pretty happy with what they did. The new kits seem to eat a lot of ram (even without the extra mics). The larger UI scaling and resizing is very nice on my 4k screen. I don't think laptop users are going to be all that thrilled with the increased memory, disc, and resolution it seems to like though.
Downloads seem to be getting a little slower, but still going fast enough I'll have it all before dinner.

Looks like they are using Highwinds Technologies CDN service to deliver files.
The manual though isn't hosted on the CDN network and trying to read it all I get are 504 Gateway timeouts.

I was getting an average download speed of 10MB/s earlier but as of now it's averaging 7MB/s.

I've been downloading since the files were available. Doing them all simultaneously making it quite slow.
My server died 2 days ago so I've had to juggle files to get space for the downloads. Adding considerable time to this whole process. I'll have a lot of work to do for the actual installation.

2 SDX updates will not install.
Custom & Vintage

I own all of the SDXs and they all updated except the two above. I click on install and it goes into a background process for about 5 minutes and then the red Install Product button appears bright/available again. I never get to the dialog. And.....the background process continues to run. After about 2 hours I killed it.
I even deleted the downloads and tried the update process all over again for these two SDXs. Same.
Anyone else see this?

Yes. My SDXs won't install either. There is a forum on the Toontrack website devoted to it. I hope there is a fix soon.

I downloaded my SDX befor I downloaded SD3. They installed just fine. Maybe try downloading again aftr all SD3 banks are downloads. I am downloading remaining SD3 parts today. Going much faster than yesterday.

FYI... Everything should be working properly now. From: Olof Group: Toontrack Support Forum Forum: Product Manager Support Topic: Metal Foundry 1.5.0 update not updating URL: https://www.toontrack.com...dating/page-2/#p173412Post: Redownloading the update shouldn't have been necessary, because it hasn't changed, but the thing can be that you were "too quick" to start the installer after relaunching PM (while it was still downloading the new installer in the background). So, others who had this problem, you can wait a bit after relaunching PM - about 20 s after the products are loaded should be more than enough - and then update the SDX(s).
