Superior drummer 3 d/l times

Doing a test with my IP...I see about 85 mbps or so... Reading the Toontrack server spits out much slower, as indicated by MANY posts on the internet.  People d/l for two days, ect!  That's totally insane.

I'm ready to purchase, now the initial rush seems to be over...but not shucking out another $200 for a drive.  However, I don't like the thoughts of downloading for 50 hrs either.

So...what have you all experienced at this point in 2018??

It took me longer to install the full SD3 than to download it. I have a 400/40 connection, with regular d/l speeds running over 300. If a file took 45 minutes to download, it would take 60 or more to install. If the drive contains only installers, you've still got hours to go.

    But it's totally worth it!

EDIT: I'm trying to remember, but I think the distribution files downloaded from Amazon S3, not directly from Toontrack. I was served as fast as my connection could handle.

I bought the SD3 upgrade from Best Service. The shipping version comes on an external HD for $10 additional. It's not an SSD but I didn't care as my connection is only 6mbs. Shipping was, I think, around $28 so it cost me about $228 for Best Services boxed version on a nice external 500gb Toshiba 5400RPM drive. I ordered on a Sunday night, requested UPS and received it the following Friday. The serial number comes with box. Worked perfectly.

    Hope this helps.
