    Thanks for posting that, Dave. I might have accidentally bought a ticket to it and then been terribly disappointed when I found out it was actually a celebration of hip-hop and electronica.

    Sonar is focused in DJ stuff and some electronica, but some of the artists cover a range of styles. Don't expect jazz or anything like that, but pretty much anything that can be heard in a dance club may find its way into Sonar.
    I attended some and had some fun, but it is not in my list of specially interesting events. At live events i want to hear musicians playing original music, while Sonar is closer to DJ sessions.
