Surge at Antebi
With all the new people in the forum, I thought I might repost this old song I did awhile back. There are a lot of villages in Africa that have been looted and the people of those villages wiped out as well. This was a song I did in their memory. They were the oppressed, they were the poor in heart, yet they were still God's children. This is there musical of their demise. I hope you will hear their cry and understand. Blessings to all. All comments welcomed. John http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10210597 We are the world, we are the children, we hear their cry!

John, I liked the mood that you have set with this. Those GNX units still have great tone.

Interesting mood piece. The ending dropped off abruptly, but a good job overall.

I'm hearing some pretty cool samples and an interesting arrangement... The fuzz guitar licks are not working for me at all... they just seem out of place to me... I do like the orchestral part that comes in later...

Interesting piece here...like how the parts actually do coincide with each other... The one thing I noted here..the title...Surge? Did you mean Siege?

pretty cool, John. I kind of like the fuzz guitar over the loops, but it might be a tad over done. I also like the orchestral staccato hits at the end.

Thank you all very much for your honest comments. As always, feedback is important, so we can work on our arrangements, timing and production tenique. I am certainly no master at this, but do have a heck of a lot of fun trying to put my thoughts into a musical format. I have much to learn, but I'm not getting any younger, so time is short for enjoying my madness. Thank you again and I enjoy listening to all of your music as well. Blessings to all. John
