Survey-Where's the prize??

I've just got my survey from Cake, I liked the questions and if they're anything to go by there are some exciting things to come but come on guys 30% off a few synths is not good enough why no prize?

And no I don't mean everyone gets a prize but the usual expectation after doing a survey is someone gets a prize doesn't have be anything great maybe the soft tube bundle.

Just saying I did my survey and always do so a little appreciation would be nice.

My two cents

Peace Ben

So, if I've got this right, you want £200 of software - for free - for filling out an online form (which not everyone has got), and because it's not going to happen, you're complaining?

Sorry Ben, can't agree with you one little bit on this one.

No not at all it's called a loyaltie program fill in a survey for a chance to win a prize simple.  I don't mind doing a survey but I'd be happier if they offered us an incentive eg a prize for doing it.  I'm hardly likely to purchase a 30% off deal as I am broke but I would love the chance to win a prize.

I think this is a good business model anyone from the cake wan to join in

    Peace ben

The survey seems to stongly indicate that the bakers are going to go all out selling lots of extra pro channel FX to enhance income streams.  Understandable perhaps, although maybe some of the responses (like mine) will slightly dampen their enthusiasm for this.  I have all the plugins I need for now.

    +1 good call John.

In the 'comments' box for that particular question I asked for an FX Bin Module for the ProChannel so I can use my VSTs anywhere in the signal chain (i.e. without having to use extra busses). I know a lot of us have already filed a feature request for this very feature, but it doesn't hurt to reinforce that in the survey.

Ben FYI the 30% off is also being offered sans the survey for non-X1 customers as well.

So you do the survey for love.

I'm sure there's many here that would glady fill out 500 surveys just to show their appreciation to the 'bakers'.

    A prize?

Man you use Sonar you're already a winner!...

Anyway be careful for what you wish for otherwise you may end up with a complementary copy of the infamous Cakewalk Voice Mail Recorder there could be a few of those laying around the office still.
