Sustain pedal records but doesn't audibly sustain in Dimension Pro

I see the CC#64 events with value 0 and 127 recorded and I can hear the sustain on playback.  However, I can't hear the effect of the sustain pedal while doing the recording or auditioning (aka. practicing).  This occurs with Dimension Pro and Rapture within Sonar 8.0 32-bit Pro edition.  Note that I also use EastWest Symphonic Orchestra plug-in and it does not have this problem from within Sonar.  The device I am using is an old Kawai K3 connected via an M-AUDIO 1010LT.  I could not find any settings for the virtual instruments to resolve this.  Thanks for any advice.

The solution is in this thread: http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=1633919

The problem appears to be with other control messages sent by the KAWAI keyboard.  The solution is using the MIDI plug-in from tencrazy.com as suggested in the thread.  It works for Dimension Pro just like it is recomended for True Pianos.

Using Win7 64bit, will this fix work? MFX SustainFix v4.0
Just want to be sure before hand. I am using a Kawai K1 synth
    Cheers
