Swamp Blues... (New Video)

New Video-
"Just Befo' Daylight"
 http://youtu.be/ZMXY8ZcwQG8

A re-mix of an old tune from the "Blues You Could Use" album...

My property in "Lower Alabama" backs up to the "Little Choctawhatchee River"...
It's a pretty wild area, and the sounds at night can be a little scarry...

I placed a condender mic outside the studio, the other night, and recorded the sekatas, crickets and a hoot-owl.

If you had a dollar for everytime I've played your CD you would be a lot richer and I would be a lot poorer.

This is great tune not matter what you do.   Love the Zombie Queen, how could you not?

Your voice is perfect for this.

thanks Ed... there's seems to be some new-found interest in the album recently, so I've decided to remix everything, add a few more tunes, and re-release it... I currently have two more albums in the works... but I'm not sure I'll ever really finish them...

This is why people ask what became of you when you aren't around for a while.  This is as comforting as a bowl of fresh gumbo.  You make me sweat the blues.

All the best,

Another regular 'Blues You Could Use' listener here Frank, love that CD. This is a fine remix, the intro is a great idea. ''Little Choctawhatchee River''..love that. I live by the Cree..wonder if there were Native Americans in Scotland..

Lynn… so glad you enjoyed this one… Thanks for listening…
Thanks James… if there were Native Americans in Scotland, they were probably lost… I don’t think the Choctaws ever traveled that far from home… (grin;-)
Timbo… who do that hoodoo that you do so well? Zombie Queen… that who...The drums sounds are from Session Drummer II… I think…

Has a real raw feel to it, which suits the song perfectly. I wouldn't ever call myself a blues man, but if anyone will ever convert me, it will be you.

Its a winner, took me right in. Van Morrisson vibe off the vox. I can see how people could easily listen to your CD's frank. Although its a long shot off "drop dead gorgeous", I should really remix that ol chestnut!!

Well done, Frank

Great job there notnat. The intro reminds me of some of those evenings I spent in Southern Ga. And the skeeter bites that usually accompanied evenings  there.  lol.

You have a great way with that bluesy stuff man.

Absoflippinlutely terrific Frank.  I love the story line and your playing is wonderful.  Swamp Blues indeed --- you captured it perfectly.  I love that touch of verb on the vocals near the end.
You have a bunch of talent and are definitely the King of the Blues on this forum!!
