Sweet smell of success...

Tommy Lee says Motley Crue Appeals to a 'whole new generation'.  They were my favorite band for 8 months when I was 12. Then I discovered Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles...

Sort of sad that the music scene is in such a state that kids will even revere our garbage.

Proof that no matter how much you suck, once you get notoriety, if you hang in there and keep at it (sucking), you eventually become "legendary". And that is redemption.

That's my positive thought of the day. lol

I was never in to that satan stuff so I never even gave Motley Crue a chance. I remember my nephew playing me a cassette this "awesome new album" by Motley Crue and the first thing I heard was, "God Bless The Children Of The Beast" and that was enough for me.

Personally, I think Motley Crue and Led Zeppelin both were very over rated.

Hold on ... ok, got my flame ****ant suit on. Have at er'.

I think everything in pop is always both over-rated AND under-rated, but rarely appreciated for what it's really worth. This includes the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis and all the rest of them...

Yeah, Zeppelin's almost as good as Vanilla Ice, right? LOL!

Personally, since I feel that most of the lyrics from many of those bands are just for effect and I pay far more attention to the music anyway.

I learned from John-T, just the other day, that Ed K committed the "appalling" all over on Jimi's records.

I smiled about that for 20%-40% of the rest of the day.

And being screwed up as a football bat is pretty badly screwed up, whatever game it is that you call football.

John T makes me smile 20-40% more than that although I doubt for any reasons that he's thought of.

Led Zeppelin is neither overrated nor underrated. They are precisely as good as everyone says they are.

Wasn’t it vanilla ice … or was it Led Zep that lip sync’ed???

Personally, I prefer vanilla fudge over vanilla ice … not a big fan of flavored water or flavored ice, they lack substance and mouth-feel.

20 – 40% unfunny?  That’s a fairly large error … I think you need to work on your precision.
