I've got 17 doblys all wired in sequence.  Even if you don't use the original Thomas ones, without blinding anyone with science, they add musical sounding phatness.

    Even Bapu should know that.

Dobly is good.  So more is better.

I'm aiming for 64 bits of Dobly.  So I can be a pro.

I seem to recall a (probably fictitious) story about Thomas Dolby and his neighbor, Ed Van Halen.  If I recall incorrectly, Tom showed Edward his home studio and recorded his neighbor noodling around on a guitar.  Tom then processed the Living Alpaca out of that thing and played it back.  Mr. Van Halen was horrified and somewhat upset that anyone had warped his guitar sound in such a drastic manner.

Later on, Ed pretended he wasn't home so he wouldn't have to return Tom's lawnmower.

I don't know why, but I think of that story whenever someone mentions Thomas Dolby.  I also think of it when someone waxes rhapsodic about cottage cheese, but there's probably a different reason for that.

I didn't know they were neighbors, but then again, I do recall seeing a video of them running around their front yard with white lab coats and butterfly nets.
