Switching out Toontrack for BFDeco in Sonar 8.31...help with maps?

I'm trying to experiment a bit with some drums for a track I'm working on. I switched out EZdrummer for Abbey Road without a hitch, as it was just a matter of switching the drum map to EZD within the Kontakt GUI.

Is there a similarly easy way within the BFDeco GUI of setting eco so it will properly play back the midi patterns that shipped with EZD?

    Hi Craig
If they are not mapping correctly it's probably because they are mapped to general midi.
I've not done this before but I think if you go to, "tick box" (on the main page next to the question mark)
and select, "key maps" that will take you to the key map page, there in the drop down list you can tell eco
to load a general midi map.
This should work but you will then be losing the extra articulations that Eco is capable of. (There are 10 for the hi-hats)
When ever I've loaded general mid maps from old midi drum tracks I made I've just gone into the piano roll view,
selected the errant kit piece (e.g cymbal playing as a tom) and dragged them to there correct kit piece.
So as long as you know what's what in your midi tracks it's a pretty quick solution.

    Cheers

Actually I just found this thread on the fx forum.
The ever helpful Rail has posted a drum map and I "Purtington" also came up with cunning solution too.
Here is the whole thread Drum Map for BFD ECO in Sonar 8.3 ?

Thanks Twaddle - had a feeling you might chime in ;-)

Will give this a go this evening, hopefully!

Have to say that for $29, eco was a hell of a buy!

I do seem to scan these pages like a hawk looking for anything to do with drums.

Eco is indeed a hell of a buy even for $100 and really isn't that far behind BFD2 in terms of sound quality
    and features.
