Sylent's Solo Project - The Devil Inside

Another example of Sylent shouldn't sing, but it gets the word out.
It's too long, and needs a more defined break, but I do like some of the guitar, and the outtro.

Singing is fine really... As a rough mix the song is also pretty decent.

I dig it! .....I think your vocals are right on for the song. I was thinking the vocal was too upfront at first but it quickly grew on me. Did you consider or do another mix with a lil depth on the vocal track? Thanks for sharing...I like that str8 forward hard rock jam goin on this tune...nice job.

hmm this is good! vocals fit right... guitars are cool! liked the lead tons... the drums could use some volume random so it sounds more natural..... but thought it was good.. hope you post another one faster & heavier! :) (and don't need to necessarily bring the devil back either lol; after I met him I dislike him and don't quote him or use it for anything lol)

This song takes me back to the days of Grand Funk Railroad and other Detroit bands.  You captured a vintage vibe and it works very well for this song.  Good job.

    Thank you Andy.

I seem to go through spurts of creativity and write several things in just a couple days.
Then try to go back and tune them in when my brain is on vacation.
I hope to get back to all of them, but this is one of my recent favs so I know it will be.
It's the closing credit track for a film I wrote so there will be a video also.

    Thanks again!!

Thank you greatly for the comments!
Yes, this will be fully mixed, and I started playing with an alt version of it that I'm really sparked about.

    Thanks a ton!!
I've always been more of a rhythm riff guy, but I liked the lead on this track... it was fun to play and that helped.
I play drums a little, but just now really getting into midi for more than just temp timing etc, and I need to find an easier workflow than going note for note through the track.

With all the kind comments by my vox, maybe I should stop being so self-conscious and just get into it.

    Thank you very much Pavlo

Good ole Grand Funk, it's been awhile since I've listened to them.
It wasn't intentional, but I like that 70s Detroit sound.

Thank you very much, from an appreciative vintage dude. lol
