Synapse Orion 8.6!

I came across another DAW, Synapse Orion 8.6, only to find it has been discontinued mid 2016. Seems like it was only around 10-12 years old.
 
Has anyone ever tried this DAW or know why it was discontinued?

    I remember this DAW. I think it kind of shared too much of same niche as fl studio but not offering as much in it's early days. I think it grew to be more DAW like but mever caught on.

    From the screenshots it looks well laid out. Would've loved to've try it out.

    Maybe check if a magazine like computer music magazine. It does look much improved visually to earlier versions.

    I think the VST/RE market is keeping them busy.  Their REs are popular.
