Sync MIDI to WAV for live performances

I have been doing a sequenced act for a long time.  I have an old MIDI addressable guitar processor that receives MIDI program change info as I play.  I get all the sounds I want, at the right volume, at the exact right time.
After doing a couple of CDs with Sonar Producer, I want to use the wav files for performances instead of sequences.  There is no comparison in the quality of the soft synths, effects, and mix; so the overall sound is a huge upgrade.
The problem is that I haven't touched an effects pedal on stage in over 20 years, because my sequencer has been changing all my settings.
Does anyone know have to sync MIDI to WAV files for my application?
