Synth Magic - Excellent service and a nice product

Its not uncommon for people to come here and have a moan about service, but I would like to say a public thank you to Steve Porter at Synth Magic.

A few weeks back I bought the Seil Orchestra 2 library for Kontakt while it was on intro offer but only got to install it yesterday. There were problems unzipping and one file was corrupted. I reported this and Steve provided new download links withing an hour of me sending my email. This was in the evening and on a UK public holiday to boot.

The library itself sounds georgous. Yes its "just another 70's vintage string machine" but I like this one a lot based on my inital auditioning of the many presets. Its also quite tweakable and horn and reed sections can be layered on top of the strings. Its now back at full price but well worth £20 if you like this sort of retro sound.

Thanks Glyn. I'm listening to their 1970's Arp Quadra synth and sounds very good....lot's of nice goodies at their site as well with good prices too.

I've used their stuff for quite a while now - good products and a great guy - always helpful when I've ever dealt with him.
I actually have a "real" Seil Orchestra and they definitely don't sound the same, but I purchased the synth Magic library anyway as sometimes it's just easier (old synths can be a touch temperamental at times!)
But saying all that, I just used the  Synth Magic and my Seil Orchestra in the same project - they are different enough to complement each other beautifully!!
