Synth Properties Open Up?

Is it possible to set Sonar so that it won't open all of the soft synth propery pages when a file is loaded?

Also Is it possible to prevent all of the soft synch property pages to be set to not open any time you chanbe focus to outside of Sonar, then go back and set te focus in Sonar again?

Is it possible to CLOSER all synth property windows at once?

Thanks, all.

X1 will open a project as it was saved. If no synths were open when it was saved then they will not open when its reopened. One thing I think people don't do is actually close a properties page. They minimize it. This is not the same as closed.

    Thanks for the reply.
I think this is a feature that should be added. That, even if minimized, when a project is opened, it should come back up exactly as it was closed.

Also, your answer did not address being able to close or minimize all synth properties windows at once.

But back to my original problem. If a project is NOT opened up in the exact state it was in when closed, then that feature is faulty. Sonar is unminimizing the windows when the project is open. Shouldn't it open with the windows in the exact state they were in when the project was savec?

Maybe it's not possible to do this. Maybe it is beyond the capabilities of the human mind to be able to open a project that was saved with some windows minimized, and reopen it with the windows still minimized. Maybe it's just a bridge too far. Technology is not up to this task.

    Thanks for your reply.

Using the "x" to close the FX/soft synth UI is the only sensible way, IMO, not minimizing.

I don't think there is a way to close all synth UIs in one go. (Maybe because no one thought someone would keep them all open at once?)

Is there some benefit in having the UIs minimized instead of closed? I find it a little "insecure" because if I have several instances of the same synth, there's a risk I open the wrong minimized one.

Solving your problem may be beyond human capabilities (dramatic). OTOH, if there's a way to use SONAR just as fluently, needing not a single mouse click more, but without creating the problem yourself, then why not do it the easy way it's meant to be done??

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.
