Synth Recording With FX Question

Hello,
My goal is to have my FX printed into my synth recording.  I have a Sonitus delay I am using that I consider part of the patch itself, so I just want it recorded that way.

I do know about the following video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCAlFThGvH8), where it shows you how to record a signal dry and wet at the same time, but I have no need for a dry track in this case as the delay is definitely going to be used. 
 
I can do the above and then delete the dry track, but it seems just like an extra step to me.  I would rather just go right in from my synth, record and have FX baked right into the audio.

Is this possible?

    Just use "freeze synth" with "track FX" ticked in the "freeze options" Then if you want, copy the audio to a new track, unfreeze the original to keep the midi part.

    Hi Rasure/chuck,
     
    Well, this is a hardware synth I am working with, so there is no freezing the synth, unless I am not understanding.

    Try routing the track to an aux track and record the aux track. May want to record the MIDI or dry audio track just in case.

    It will take however many tracks are necessary to get the data into SONAR and at least one track using a patch point as its input. Bottom line, SONAR records the input signal. Effects get applied after input. To record effects requires a track that has the effects as part of its input.

    You can freeze any track you want (Audio or Midi).
     
    If your sending your Hardware Synth in to Sonar Midi or Audio, its basically the same thing as far as freeze is concerned.
    You either have an Audio track or a Midi Track. Right click on the Freeze button to pull up the freeze options.
    Click on the check box that says: "Track FX". This will embed any FX you have in the track FX container.
    Click Freeze and call it a day.
     
    Once the Track is Frozen, Drag the Frozen track to a new Audio track. Done.
     
    I don't even deal with Aux tracks for things like this.
