Synthogy not playing nice w/ Cakewalk

I've spent too much time trying to figure this out. I have an Audigy 2ZS sound card and Synthogy's Ivory VST plugin. I inserted the Ivory tracks, one MIDI, one DX. No matter what I do I don't get sound on those tracks. Any suggestions?

John, can you be more specific about how you're doing it? when you insert the Ivory VST, does the Ivory properties page pop up? did you go to the MIDI source track and set the OUTPUT, CHANNEL, BANK and PATCH settings? I'm not familiar with Ivory, do you have to load a specific instrument into a specific channel before you try to execute MIDI thru it? That's the way GS3 does it.

Beagle, thanks for the response. I was able to get it to work. I disabled all soundcard-related MIDI IN/OUT options, and I selected a preset other than the default one in Ivory. Not sure which of the two steps or combination made it work, but it started working. Any thoughts?

Not certain, but your Ivory might have been in contention with your Soundblaster's embedded synth so when you disabled the SB MIDI I/O that might have been the fix.
