Synths and VSTi's Go Silent X1B

Hello all,

Still not gotten round to XC1 yet, hopefully this weekend but...

I keep encoutnering an issue where everything just goes silent. I can be happily playing along / working on a project with no issues (CPU, dropout or otherwise) and all is groovy. But when doing something such as importing an audio track or inserting a synth such as TTS1 everythin just suddenly goes silent. Like a mute all or something.

Input Echo still enabled and signal showing on meters, Audio Engine still running, tried stopping and starting Audio Engine, but NADA.

The only thing I can do is save the project, close Sonar and relaunch all is then fine. Just a bit annoying and I get paranoid about importing a track or inserting a synth as this happens several times in a session.

Thanks
Dean

I occasionally have had this issue... I'll be messing around with presets or switching between Synths and then I'll hear the audio glitch out for a second and then the signal on the meters will freeze and I'll have no sound.. The audio engine is still enabled but there is absolutely no sound.

Sometimes I can get the audio back from toggling the audio engine on and off a few times. Otherwise I have to restart the application.

It's stuff like this that makes me nervous to work on any complex projects with Sonar. I hope someone else can shed light on the subject.

Edit: This is with X1C btw
