TASCAM US-122 USB Interface with Win 7 ?

I purchased a used TASCAM US-122 USB interface then found out TASCAM's website has drivers for 32 & 64 bit XP and Vista operating systems but no drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10.

Is anyone using a TASCAM US-122 interface with 64 bit Windows 7?  If so what steps did you take to get it to work properly?

I've used the same interface for years using the most recent driver available through the Tascam download page. I used it with NO issues w/Win 7 and NO issues now with Win 10. Oops...I shouldn't have said that (as I run downstairs to see if it still works...)

If you go to Tascams web site there is a big differance between the us 122  and the us 122MKII
the older model is not supported past Vista. And I would not trust older Tascam drivers to work very well anyhow. Not sure what you paid for it but I hope it was $25. It's more or less obsolete and not worth bothering with.

You'll see the MKII model has the newest Tascam drivers which they released for most older models in Dec 2014. This is very important stuff.

June61944 and Catus Music,
Thank you both for taking time to respond.

Catus Music, the interface I acquired is the original blue and white interface.  As you noticed, Tascam stopped delivering drivers with Vista.  That is why I'm asking questions.

June61944, so you have the blue and white US-122 USB interface and have not had any trouble using it with Windows 7 or Windows 10?  I heard some people have a problem where the driver will not release until the interface is physically disconnected.; have you experienced this issue or any issues at all?

look in june61944 signature and you will see he / she has the MKII version which is supported.
I see your still on XP so your interface will work fine with that, but you certainly will be upgrading someday and when that happens you will want an interface that is more up to date.. good drivers are very important to working with any DAW.

Johnny,

Thanks for pointing out the answer is in June61944's signature.  I was so busy looking for a response I didn't see the answer was available in the signature.

You are correct about upgrading.  Presently I'm using a desktop running 32 bit XP.  I'm considering moving to a laptop running 64 bit Win 7 but am finding out that, for my musical interests I may be better off sticking with what I have while using the laptop for internet.
