TEMPLATE ISSUES

Hi guys,
I have just received SONAR X2 Producer and got a problem with templates. Basicaly, when opening SONAR ->create new project got no templates in a window to choose from...I understand I should be able to see them all over there. Also Sonar seems not working alright there got only control bar over here.
Any idea what could happen or what shall I do?
I checked edit->preferences and file folder and still nothing...
Cheers.
Peter

Whatever version of Sonar you had before X2, your templates will be found wherever you saved them from that version.

Open up your previous version, go to preferences/folder locations and figure out where they are. Then in X2 go to the same place and direct your preference there.

    HTH,
Cheers Mate but still nothing. That's first time I got SONAR, when opened for the first time shortly after installation could see in the window all original factory templates and suddenly gone. Not sure, where to look for it really...it a pain to create SONAR window all over again every single time when kickin' off to play with.
    Any suggestions?

I forget where the default is since I move mine to a different location.

Try C:\Cakewalk Content. There should be a folder in there with all the timeplates bot track and project.

If not, just re-install the program over the top of itself. You can do a custom install, I believe, and just choose the templates.

I would contact Cake support.  If this was a new installation and you allowed SONAR to install normally, this should not be happening.

    Best,

The default location is in your "Cakewalk Content\SONAR X2 Producer\Project Templates" folder. I believe that is normally on your C:\ drive but may be different if you chose to install it somewhere else.

You can change the path in Preferences---->File----->Folder locations so that's another thing to check.

If you've managed to delete them accidentally you can run the installer, change to a custom install and just install the templates.
