TH2 Producer Not Saving Imported Bank

I tried importing the White Knuckle Bass Presets bank into TH2 Producer using Sonar Platinum and everything seemed fine until I launched the program later and saw that the bank was missing. I reinstalled Sonar X3 Producer and that had no effect. Whether I use X1, X3 or Platinum, TH2 Producer won't save that bank. Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong, things to check or change?

THD Producer still shows the free TH2 Producer content pack with the Jazz bank. The only difference I can see between the two is that the White Knuckle Bass Presets bank is just an XML file and the Jazz bank includes a Cabinet IRs folder and a .DS_Store file.

I downloaded the bank from

Did the numbers for the empty banks turn orange after they disappeared next time you opened it? If so I had something similar happen in the full version of TH2 with, funnily enough, the Jazz presets from the X2 Content Club.

I found some of the extra banks Overloud provided on their website so decided to try them out. Because I hadn't gotten around to installing those Jazz presets from the Content Club I figured I would install those as well.

The presets from Overloud loaded as did the Jazz banks (IIRC) but next time I opened TH2 the Overloud presets were there but the Jazz banks were gone. In the bank where I had saved the Jazz presets all the bank/sound numbers had turned orange but the slots were empty. Clicking on the slots didn't load anything but the blank default setup.

I figured maybe it was because those Jazz banks were designed for TH2 Producer and that perhaps they just didn't work on the full version. I've been meaning to try loading them in TH2 Producer to see if they would stick.

Perhaps those White Knuckle bass presets are for the Full version of TH2 (the banks I got from Overloud specifically said they would not work in any lite versions like TH2 Producer).

However I remember the blog post those presets were from and thought they had indeed been designed for TH2 Producer. Maybe not.

That's probably not helpful but maybe somewhat confirmation of some bank import weirdness.

Also thanks for reminding me about the White Kncukle presets. I had forgotten about those.

    Cheers.

Edit: Just for reference I scrounged up the blog post. It does indeed say TH2 Producer. Weird.

And for anyone who needs it here are the vids from Overloud about importing banks...

Sometimes the banks would change color. Other times they wouldn't. It's not that I really need those presets, it just annoys me that I import them according to the instructions and it doesn't work right. I'm not really happy with the TH2 anyway and am starting to lean towards just recording the output from my Digitech RP350. For sure I'm not going to pay for the full version when the version I have has these kinds of problems. Others seem to like these virtual guitar amps but I've never had much luck with them. Thanks for replying, though. I appreciate your comments and help.

According to the data in the White-Knucle Bass Presets.XML. the export was made from the full version of TH2. I never got the presets to save in TH2 Producer. I used the full version of TH2 instead.

That could be the problem but after I import them they work fine. I can tweak them all I want and everything seems to be doing what it's supposed to be doing. They just don't save.

Ah... scook to the rescue yet again. I am extremely preoccupied with other stuff but I am on a massive TH2 probing experiment at the moment and will test this out on my full version (and see if I can get those Jazz presets working in the Producer version).

I will say the preset bank thing is annoying as hell. It is however a really awesome program for the tweak freak guit hound (which I am). Don't judge it based on the bank scheme because that is literally the worst part of the program by far.
