TH3

Hi all

I bought the full version of TH3 a couple of weeks ago. Have to say it's excellent but I have a question to ask if I may?

The presets are generally pretty good but is there any way of setting up a 'favourites' list where you can store your most used patches? I find myself 'losing' patches I like - i.e. I can't remember what or where they are? I think Guitar Rig has something but I can't find the equivalent in TH3. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Dave

you can save whatever patches you like to your own user banks. you can save an existing preset to a user location, then do what you like to it, save it etc,  haven't used th3 for a while, but it's pretty easy

I don't know the answer to the OPs question but wanted to add my 2 cents in that I think TH3 is the most realistic amp sim that there is... the GUI is a bit large and unique to get used to but it sure sounds good.  I also like how easy it is to add your own IR cabinets to the signal chain.  KUDOs to Overloud.... I too upgraded to the full version of TH3 after playing around with the CAKE edition, so KUDOs to CAKE as well for including the teaser version of TH3.

All I can say is running either guitar samples or synths through it is major fun!

So you can have your own user banks? Probably missing something obvious but I don't know how to do that. I also want the option to be able to store presets that I like somewhere so they're readily retrievable!

+1 regarding the full version of TH3. Great product :-)

Sorted how to create new banks. Strangely enough it's under the 'add' button. Doh. With advancing middle age unfortunately comes useless eyesight!

I'd still like to know if there's a 'Favourites' function though.

I'm on a roll here. What you can do is create a new bank - let's call it favourites for the purpose of this post - and copy presets into it. Quite simple when you think about it.

yes there various ways you can do it, it's pretty easy to do whatever you want, glad you got it sorted. th2 was a bit odd in the way it handled presets, but once you got the hang of it it was easy, th3 is much better in that respect.

TH2 and TH3 are great amp Sims. and was my favorite till I tried Positive grid Bias.
    Still love TH3 though.

yes there is a lot of good stuff with th3 and th2, unfortunately they don't get much attention from me as they should since pretty much switching to bias amp pro and bias fx pro a couple of years ago
