So you don't have a Motown voice?  Sonar only properly records Motown voices - if your's is different, you'll need a different DAW.

Go into Preferences | Initialization file, add a variable called GoodTasteFilter and set it to 0.

I have the same problem. Perhaps I have got your version and you've got mine. We need to swap and see if that makes a difference.

I realize I'm new to the forum, but thought I'd throw my two cents in anyway, lol, why don't you just bring more beer and pizza to the session, always seems to help my singing!

Write us a goodbye letter and go over  to Protools. That will improve your vocals. When you see the price and the Ilok your voice will go up a least 3 octaves.

Cliff S - you've only got 2 posts so anything you say is irrelevant. Just sit there and watch. You can post when you're post count is 10 and not before.

Mod. You and your dog tilt your head at the same angle in photographs. It may mean nothing or it could mean something significant.

Go into Preferences | Initialization file, add a variable called GoodTasteFilter and set it to 0.

Now that's funny.

Bapu, did you check the on switch for the mic?

It could always be X1's fault of course. I quite often play fantastic piano lines only to find out that Sonar records them wrong. I then have to use the PRV to sort the mess out........

Haha.  Never noticed that but you are right.  He's my studio dog.  He probably tilts that way because my levels aren't balanced.

I thought I heard something land on the CH floor.

Too bad I didn't have my analogue camera around to capture it on film.
