T-Racks and SONAR 8

Is anyone having trouble using T-Racks with Sonar8. I've been a proud user of Sonar 3 with the updates and have had hardly no real problems with T-Racks. Just to tell you what's going on, whenever I load a plug-in from the tracks series, it would either cause an error and of course crash, or it would wait until I press play, and then an error pops up letting me know it's about to crash. Anyone experience this?

You're getting the same error I have. I currently have IK multimedia looking into it, but you should submit a report request too because they seem to be having trouble with it. If you can, try and get a crash log (either Sonar's internal or a Dr. Watson log) and submit it IK

TRacks 3 here and no crashes running it. Just the usual CPU hog issue.

No crashes here with T3 but it is a huge CPU hog on my lowly P4.
I have a Delta66 and am running XP.

Ok, When I insert a Stereo version of one of the T-Racks processors into a track, it's cool. but, when I try to insert a mono version, this is when I get the error. If you guys are willing, try that and see what happens.

I feel ya, I just upgraded to an Core2Quad, and it's much better. Except, T-Racks wasn't CPU hungry, but my Voxengo plugs were!!!

Hmmm...that might account for some of my crashes. That'll be something to look into this weekend.

Did you report your crashes to IK? They're certainly not going to get fixed in this forum.

I too am experiencing T Racks Deluxe crashing when I drag a wave file into it when using tRACKS as a stand alone . I use a Roland Quad Capture as my sound card. When Tracks crashes it says that it's not working and cannot start the audio device and should check in my hardware settings (in t-racks). I see the Quad Capture device but the left and right channels and Buffer size are missing. If I open Sonar X3 Producer at this point it also is missing my Quad Capture sound card. I have to reboot the computer to restore everything. If I try it again it happens all over again.  The song I was working on was recorded at 44.1/ 24 bit and I may have saved the project as a 24 bit with no dithering. I wanted to make a change in the mix in Sonar and re master in T-Racks only this time selected to save it as a 16 bit and dithering on. This is when everything started crashing. I'm not sure if if this is the problem or if it's another issue. Any ideas? Thanks
