It's been awhile but I can't remember how to open the brush set in TTS 1. Any help would be appreciated

The standard drum set is drum patch number 001 while the brush set is drum patch number 041.

Using Cakewalk by BandLab:

One way to select the brush kit is to navigate to a midi track whose data is output to the TTS-1, left click on that track's midi icon to open the TTS-1 GUI, left click on the name of the drum kit currently assigned to channel 10 (standard drum kit) to open a sub menu pop up window, select Preset, select Drum Set, select 041 Brush Set.

Another is to use the Patch Browser Button, type in the word "Brush" into the Patch Browser search window and select brush set.
