TTS Volume Problem

I am having a problem when trying to use TTS for the piano sounds. Basically it is VERY quiet. Volume levels are normal for all other soft synths that I use but when use TTS it is ridiculously quiet. If I click on the sample sound it sounds beautiful and great volume, but when I actually play my keyboard it is very quiet. If I ABSOLUTELY SMASH the keys on my keyboard, it almost comes up to the sample volume.

Any ideas?

on my keyboard there is a slider for volume.. if it's down the volume won't go up all the way midi wise..

the fist thing is to have a look in the event list I guess and see what is the actual value of the notes..

is it just TTS doing it?

also it could even be the velocity curve / attack setting on the keyboard itself.. thats a few things to look into for a start..

did it just start happening recently also? and if so have you changed anything recently?

    Thanks Fog,

I'll try the slider thing, but I thought that it only controlled the volume of my onboard speakers. All other soft synths (DimLE etc) work fine.

TTS is  a POS. So is Session Drummer. So are a lot of the "free features" offered by SONAR.

TTS will not store settings. Session Drummer misses beats etc. AFAIk nothing has been done to fix this.

Ignore them and go back to basics. If that makes the CW product not worth it to you over some free/cheap/ware programme, then save yourself the money.

    Angry? Yes.
