TTS-1 Confusion with saving

I open TTS-1, and want to alter say, a drumset. I make changes to a particular drum, and then change the name and Write to User Rhythm, and call it MyNewRhythm.gmd

This leaves me with Track ten on the TTS set to MyNewDrumSet. OK so far. But if I save and close SONAR then return and try to actually call up the drumset, I am presented with Standard Set on all patches. Even if I ask for the User Rhythm Bank, and reload, MyNewRhythm.gmd I have lost the MyNewDrumSet setup from the listings.

The only safe way I can see to keep the drumset for that project is to set the Patch to None and let TTS-1 take care of it. But it means I cannot use the MyNewDrumSet in another project AFAICS.

Any help appreciated

I have to Save and reload a Performance File (well buried that one was, in both the programme and the Help)...........

......or use Presets. That is not part of TTS-1 and I was lost for a while

I have the same problem, in that when TTS loads, there is a "dirty flag" (asterisk) by the preset name, so  I must re-load the preset, or go to the effects in TTS and change one parameter by 1 unit. I use Playlist live on stage, and must use frozen TTS's if  Iwant the same effects every time. Anyone any ideas how I can open a project without having to load the TTS each time.

Boy! These are blasts from the past! I had moved on completely from TTS-1. I just gave up. I think it's a silly thing to bundle with a fine piece of parent software.

TTS is IMHO a fine synth to begin to learn midi with, and it has some nice sounds. They are GM MIDI sounds however and as such, tend to sound "fake" when compared with the much better sample based synths on the market.  I have stopped using TTS totally since I bought several synths that use samples.

To answer the OP...I never really tried to save an edited drum kit in TTS..... sorry.
