TTS-1, How to save Parameter change?

Hi

I can't seem to save the parameter changes made in the TTS-1 synths.
I've made few adjustment on reverbs, chorus and tones (equalizer) on the Square Wave preset.

However, no matter how I tried (including pressing 'Write" and 'Save Bank' bottons) none seem to save the changes made into the particular preset.
That is, whenever I hit the play botton, all the parameter changes would revert back to the original state.

Your expertise is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

When you insert the soft synth, is the box marked Recall Assignable Controls checked?

Are there any CC events in the track that may be affecting the parameters?

Are you renaming the patch? You can't save over the original patch. You have to write it to one of the User Normal banks.

I did check the Event Lists and I didn't see any information other than the note changes.
Also, the CC event shows only the velocity information.

    Thanks.

I Am Having The Same Trouble I Have Followed The Instructions Explicitly. It Should Not Be That Hard To Save Your Intrument Settings In The tts-1. I Have Contacted Tech Support But Have Not Heard Anything Back From Them As Of Yet. It Is A Pain To Keep Reloading Your Edited Instruments Every Time You Stop And Play Or Relaunch The Software.

if you're using vista or win7 this might be a UAC issue.  try turning off UAC and see if that helps.

No, it shouldn't... but it always has been, and apparently always will. There have been many discussions about this over the years, and there may be better ways of handling this, but IIRC, the following works:

    1. Save the tweaked sound to a User Bank as suggested.
    2. Set patch selections for TTS-1 in the track header(s) to None.

The tweaked patches should remain in place when the project is saved and re-opened.

If you want to be able to use the Patch setting in the track header to display and select tweaked patches, you will have to save the User Bank  (as a .gmn file) and re-load it every time you open the project.
